Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, is the largest city in Australia. The city is built around a large harbor and has several bays, beaches, and two national parks that make it a great tourist attraction for the travelers from all over the world. The city of Sydney covers 26.15 square kilometers approximately. In the previous decade, it has become the fastest and the largest growing area in the New South Wales.

Sydney enjoys cool winters, warm summers, and uniform rainfall during the whole year. The city has no dry season and Autumn is the rainiest season. Though the climate remains good, at times, there are thunderstorms, torrential rains, and hailstorms. Precipitation is average.

The Sydney harbor divides the city into North and South. Both the tunnel and the Sydney Harbour Bridge connects the two parts of this city. The residential and the business area is mostly situated in the Northern part of Sydney while the major tourist attraction places are in South Sydney. The southern region comprises the Circular Quay and The Rocks. The Central Station marks the South. Numerous parks can be found in the Eastern part and Darling Harbour is in the Western region.

The Central Business District of Sydney is home to the best shopping centers. There are more than 400 specialty stores. Queen Victoria is one of the most stunning shopping centers, which is home to a wide range of designer stores and boutiques. The historic Sydney Town Hall lies opposite to the Queen Victoria building. It was constructed in the 1880’s. In Australia, the tallest structure is the Sydney Tower and you can see the complete view of the city from the top of this amazing tower.
