Geelong is the second largest city of Victoria and is located on the Corio Bay. It is just within a short drive from the famous beach-front communities living on the Bellarine Peninsula in addition to being the gateway to the renowned Great Ocean Road which starts at Torquay, which is slightly south of Geelong. This city boasts a huge commercial centre which extends all the way to the foreshore and which gives visitors the chance to explore the famous beachfront attractions like the Eastern Beach and its swimming enclosure, the incredible dining options available on the Cunningham Pier, the Steampacket gardens, and the numerous coastal walks which are decorated with an array of bollards that depict historic characters.

1. Barrow Grange
This is a Gothic revival home which overlooks the Barwon River in Newtown, which is a Geelong suburb. This home was built in the early 1850s and is home to an exquisite collection of early Victorian fittings and furniture. The adjacent gardens include century-old trees, a fountain, and lawns that slope all the way to the river.
2. Bellarine Rail Trail
Starting in the suburban Geelong south, this cycling, jogging and walking track heads to the east to Drysdale after which it runs adjacent to the Bellarine Peninsula Tourist Railway and to Queenscliff. This trail passed through native vegetation, farmland, and along the edge of the Swan Bay.
3. Geelong Gallery
The Geelong gallery is home to a huge collection of 19th century and 20th-century Australian decorative arts, paintings, sculptures and numerous contemporary works. In this gallery, there is also a huge collection of early images of this Geelong region in Victoria.
